A beautiful evening to be on the water with six guests, including two who have both joined over five trips with us since we started last year.
We were fortunate to have a small group of Dall’s porpoises speed over to our boat and surf our bow wave to the great excitement of our guests. As soon as they disappeared a humpback whale surfaced near by. This whale is identified as Graffiti by the Marine Education and Research Society and we saw it in almost the exact same spot yesterday.
After watching the humpback whale for a bit we headed off in search of more wildlife and found lots of birds, a large Steller sea lion haul out and numerous sea otters before returning to the dock.
